Description

There’s nothing quite like a warm, gooey pecan pie fresh from the oven—except when you turn it into a cobbler! Dixie’s Pecan Pie Cobbler is a decadent, buttery, and caramelized dessert that brings together two Southern favorites: pecan pie and cobbler. With layers of flaky crust, rich pecan filling, and a luscious caramel sauce that forms as it bakes, this dessert is pure comfort food.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 4 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Prepare the crust: Roll out the pie crust and press it into the bottom of the baking dish.
  • Make the filling: In a large bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and flour until smooth.
  • Layer the ingredients: Sprinkle half of the chopped pecans over the pie crust. Pour half of the filling over the pecans, then repeat with the remaining pecans and filling.
  • Bake the cobbler for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  • Cool completely before slicing and serving. Optionally, top with heavy cream or vanilla ice cream.
